I used a sepia toned photograph as a reference for this oil painting.

The concert room in Casa Cordati in Northern Tuscany where musicians and opera singers from all over the world come to rehearse, perform and be inspired.

Again using an old photograph as reference, I did this oil painting of my grandmother. It’s called Margaret Waiting.

This painting is done with soft pastels on velour paper. The swim costumes might be vintage, but friendship is timeless.
